Pocket Trainer — Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Pocket Trainer is a food, workout, and weight tracking app. This page explains, in plain words, what information the app holds, where it lives, and how you can delete it. Pocket Trainer is run by its developer, Francisco Alvarez. Questions: francisco_alvarezj@yahoo.com.

What the app holds

Where it lives

Your information is stored on Cloudflare, the service that runs the app, and is sent over an encrypted connection. Your phone also keeps a copy of your own data so the app opens fast and works offline; that copy stays on your phone.

Who can see it

Your logs, workouts, weights, and numbers are yours. The app's owner and admin can see account basics only — a name, an email address, and when the account was made — so accounts can be supported. The admin never sees another person's food logs, workouts, weights, or other personal numbers.

Your information is never sold. It is not shared with advertisers. The only outside services that touch it are the ones that make features work: Cloudflare (hosting and meal-scan AI) and the recipe search service, which receives only your search words, never your account or your logs.

How to delete your account and data

Inside the app: sign in, open your account settings, and choose Delete my account. You will be asked for your password to confirm. Your account and everything in it — logs, workouts, weights, runs, and club posts — are then deleted right away. This cannot be undone.

Without the app: email francisco_alvarezj@yahoo.com from the email address on your account and ask for your account to be deleted. The deletion is carried out the same way, in full.

Signing out is not deletion, and this app offers no "freeze" instead of deletion — deleting means the data is gone. After deletion, nothing is kept back: there is no copy held for later.

Changes to this page

If what the app holds or how it is handled changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
