Your food log is on this phone
This phone holds a food log from before accounts — your days, saved foods and workouts. Claim it into your account and it all moves over, exactly as it is. Your saved targets come with it, unchanged.
No streak yet — log something today and one starts.
Fiber, sodium, sugar and vitamin marks are the standard FDA daily reference values — reference points, not Buddy's targets. One caution on sugar: the FDA mark is for added sugar, while your log counts total sugar, so read that bar as a reference point only. A dash means none of today's foods published that number.

Daily habits
Private to your account — nobody else sees this. It is a plain log, nothing more.
Search foods
An honest word on plate photos: they are rough. In NIH testing, photo apps missed about a third of a meal's calories — mostly fats a camera cannot see, like oils and dressings. Treat every number here as a draft: fix the portions, add any oil or sauce you used, then log.

Quick add
Just the numbers you know, logged straight to the day. Nothing is saved to your library — for a food you will eat again, search for it above or scan its barcode, so it lands in your library.

Runs
No runs yet. Record one here, or run with your Apple Watch and it lands here from Apple Health.
Weight
No weigh-ins yet. Log your first one below and the trend starts here.
Connect your scale
Your RENPHO scale can send its weigh-ins here by itself — weight, body fat, BMI and lean mass — carried through Apple Health. Two switches make it happen:
- In the RENPHO app: find its Apple Health sharing (in the app's settings, under your profile there) and turn on Weight and Body Fat Percentage, so every weigh-in is written into Apple Health.
- On this phone: let the sync read those numbers — open the Health app, tap your picture, tap Apps, tap Muse (the sync Pocket Trainer reads through), and turn on Weight, Body Fat Percentage, BMI and Lean Body Mass.
One caution: your RENPHO holds profiles for you, your sister and your brother. Weigh-ins only belong here when the scale is on your profile — a weigh-in taken under someone else's profile would land in your numbers, so check the profile before you step on.
After that, weigh-ins arrive on their own and show in the list above, marked "Apple Health / RENPHO". A number your scale does not send stays a dash — nothing is ever guessed.

Training
Straight answers from your own numbers — what's left today, what closes your protein, and the best protein for the money. No fluff. Type it, or tap Talk and say it: "I ate a small bean burrito — add it to my breakfast."

Cookbook
What can you make today? The rows are laid out Netflix-style by goal — Cutting, Bulking, Lean, Meal Prep and the rest — and a recipe only appears by earning its row from its real numbers, so the junk never gets in. The Shelf's recipes are checked against USDA ingredient data, so their numbers are the numbers you log. The Catalog fills the same rows out deep: hundreds more recipes and playable videos from fitness cooks, every video checked real and every number stated by its source and labeled an estimate — tap Show more in any row to keep going. Explore searches thousands more recipes from Spoonacular, also estimates, and every Explore card says so. Saved holds the recipes you keep from any of the three.

A few quick things make Pocket Trainer work its best. Do them whenever — nothing here blocks the app, and each step leaves the list when it's done.

Phone notifications
Buddy can talk to your phone: a roast when the junk piles up, straight talk when you hit your marks, and a warning in the evening when your protein is still short. At most three a day, and never between 10 pm and 7 am.
On an iPhone, notifications only arrive when Pocket Trainer is on your Home Screen: tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen", open the app from that icon, and turn this on there.
Bro notifications
Gym reminders at your times, a roast when you log junk, a backhanded compliment when you eat right, and gym-bro talk through the day. Your voice, your settings — and quiet 10 pm to 7 am, same as everything else here.
Gym reminders
Pick a time and the days. Bro handles the rest — one reminder per time you set.
